Il Jang – Keon – Symbolizes ‘Heaven and Light’
Heaven provides rain and the sun provides light and together they make things grow. It is the basis of all things and the beginning of everything on earth. Keon is the creative force which inhabits all physical forms.
As the ‘Keon’ symbolizes the beginning of the creation of all things in the universe, so does Il Jang in the training of Taekwondo.
